Globe Valves
10 products
Manual globe valves are the most common valve type in control applications. They are used to regulate the flow in a pipeline and are ideal for usage with steam, hot & cold water and oil pipelines. The valves are capable of regulating pressure, isolating flow, throttling, and completely shutting off the flow using a handwheel.
Made up of a movable disc and a stationary seat within a circular body (Hence the name), in a Globe Valve, fluid typically flows from the bottom to the top of the disc, but the valve can be configured for reverse flow if necessary.
Available in a multitude of pressure and temperature ratings and supplied as bellow sealed, SDNR (Screw-down non-return valve) and angle seat in sizes ranging from ½” – 12”.
Benefits of Globe Valves.
- Precise control: Offer a range of flow control options, allowing for fine adjustments from maximum flow to complete shut-off.
- Reliable shutoff: Creates a tight seal when closed, which is important for stopping flow during emergencies or maintenance.
- Dependable: Low leakage rate and are resistant to clogging.
- Durable: Made from strong materials that can withstand corrosion, high pressure, and high temperatures.
An extensive range of globe valves available in a variety of materials.
Flocon stocks globe valves in a range of materials including bronze, cast iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Connection options include threaded, flanged, socket weld, and butt weld.
- Brass Compression Stopcock: Perfect for hot water distribution in areas where water has high corrosive properties.
- Bronze: These valves are suitable for engineering, marine and HVAC applications. Handwheel operated, these flanged globe valves are cast with a Bronze body and Brass stem, featuring a PTFE disc seat and is rated for a pressure of PN32.
- Cast Iron: Perfect for hot & cold water, steam, air and oil pipelines, cast iron globe valves are suitable for industrial, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and marine applications.
- Cast Steel: Provides a leak-tight shut off for complete isolation or can be used to open partially for flow regulation, these valves are suitable for industrial and marine applications.
- Carbon Steel: Designed for isolation in high-temperature and high-pressure systems, this valve is well-suited for mineral oil and steam applications. Available in screwed BSP (British Standard Pipe), NPT(National Pipe Thread Tapered) and Socket Weld.
- Stainless Steel: Perfect for pipelines pumping aggressive and corrosive liquids, but also suited to air, gas, water and oil pipelines too. Twin-Ply Bellows can be used on steam, gas, liquid, condensate and water systems.
