Polyethylene Pipe
10 products
Flocon stocks a comprehensive collection of Polyethylene pipes.
Polyethylene is perfect for your next project as it meets exacting standards imposed by WRC and WRAS and can withstand the harshest of conditions with its lightweight, incredibly strong, and durable construction that's easy to join. We have a wide range of blue MDPE (medium density polyethylene) pipe and HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipes available.
Blue MDPE Pipe
WRC tested and WRAS approved with pressure ratings of 10 Bar from 20mm to 110m, MDPE pipe is a vital component when installing water supply pipelines. Flocon stock blue MDPE in coils of 25, 50 & 100mtrs. Suitable for below ground pipe installations, our MDPE pipe is of excellent quality that won’t corrode nor support the growth of bacteria such as fungi or algae.
HDPE pipe
High-density polyethylene pipe is used across multiple pipeline applications such as gas mains, irrigation systems, slurry & waste mains, stormwater and drainage.
Very quick to install in electrofusion or butt fusion which helps construction teams to save time and money on labour costs. Extremely durable, HDPE can withstand high impact and static loads, and pipes won’t fracture or damage even in freezing conditions. With excellent resistance to chemicals, HDPE pipe is particularly suitable for processing corrosive acids and alkalis. We stock SDR11 pipes from 50mm to 180mm with larger and smaller diameters available from 16mm – 630mm on very fast lead times.
Polyethylene Fittings.
Offering light weight and superior strength our range of polyethylene fittings are an effective solution for your plumbing, irrigation or low pressure industrial needs.

- Durable: Withstands impacts, pressure, and temperature fluctuations.
- Flexible: Adapts to uneven terrain and reduces the need for fittings.
- Cost-effective: Often less expensive than metal alternatives.
- Long lifespan: Can last for decades with minimal maintenance.
Polyethylene pipe is incredibly versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications, including:
- Water supply and distribution: Potable water mains, service lines, and irrigation systems.
- Gas distribution: Natural gas pipelines and distribution networks.
- Drainage and sewerage: Wastewater removal, stormwater management, and drainage systems.
- Industrial applications: Chemical processing, mining, and slurry transport.
- Agriculture: Irrigation, livestock watering, and drainage.
Polyethylene pipe can be installed using various methods, including:
Electrofusion welding: Using specialized equipment to create a strong, leak-proof joint.
Butt fusion welding: Melting the pipe ends together to form a seamless joint.
Mechanical fittings: Using compression fittings or push-fit connections
