Galvanised steel pipes are made by taking a steel pipe and immersing it in a bath of molten zinc. This creates a protective zinc coating on the surface through a process called "hot-dip galvanising". This results in a metallurgical bond between the two materials, protecting the steel from corrosion and rusting.

Due to its galvanisation in hot liquid zinc, Galvanised Steel Pipes are extremely resistant to corrosion, making them long-lasting.
