Pipe repair kits are designed to provide quick and effective solutions for fixing leaks and damage in various types of pipes. Here's a breakdown of how they work:

1. Epoxy Putty:

• This is a mouldable substance that hardens to create a strong, waterproof seal and activates when in contact with water. It is also WRAS approved so it is suitable for pipes carrying drinking water.

2. Wrap & Seal Pipe Burst Tape:

• This tape is designed to stretch and fuse to itself, creating a tight seal around the damaged area.

3. SylWrap Pipe Repair Bandages:

• This bandage is activated by water and hardens into a rigid, protective layer.  
• It's used to reinforce the initial repair made with epoxy putty or repair tape, providing added strength and durability.

PTFE Thread Tape doesn't adhere like adhesive tape. Instead, it acts as a lubricant and a deformable filler. When you tighten the threaded connection, the tape compresses and conforms to the threads, creating a tight seal.

The Armaflex Adhesive Tape is a great tool for applications when insulation and condensation prevention are crucial.

This tape can be used on most metal and plastic pipes.

It's widely used to insulate pipes carrying cold or hot water, as well as refrigerant lines. This helps prevent condensation, which can lead to corrosion and mould growth.It's also used to insulate pipe fittings, valves, and other irregular shapes that are difficult to insulate with traditional insulation materials.
