Class 800 Forged Steel Gate Valve NPT, BSP & Socket Weld Ends
This strong, heavy-duty class 800 forged steel Gate Valve is perfect for even the most demanding of process applications. When you open the class 800 valve, a minimally turbulent and low-pressure drop can be expected to occur. Industries that require the isolation of viscous fluids or liquids will find this valve appropriate.
The forged steel gate valve is designed to handle the high pressures and often corrosive materials commonly found in refineries and petrochemical plants. The valve features a thermally-bolted bonnet and stems for extra protection against the harshest environments. This valve is able to withstand extreme temperature variations and can be used in conditions as low as -38 °C and as high as 538 °C.
This forged steel gate valve class 800 has been designed to comply with API602 specifications, ensuring the highest of forge steel valve standards. The valve features an outside screw and yolk with a rising stem. Both isolation applications can be operated by the handwheel.
When you need to isolate your flow, you don't want any leaks. That's why we recommend gate valves, which are easy to operate and provide a positive shut-off when closed in either the horizontal or vertical position. These valves come with a small amount of control so that when throttling steam, gas or liquids, they can help you reduce the pressure by opening only partially. Class 800 gate valves are operates with ease and are an engineers' favourite way of shutting off and opening parts of the pipeline.
At Flocon we like to supply our customers with all the necessary materials to get the job done. That's why this valve is provided with a variety of additional features. For example, it will ship with BSPT, NPT threaded or socket weld ends.
Forged steel gate valve class 800 is an industrial-grade valve that can withstand the most intense of environments. A few possible usages are in turbine rooms, condensate lines, oil burner lines and in places where expensive plant equipment needs to be protected
