Spirax Sarco HL10 Safeguard High-Limit Cut-out Control
The Spirax Sarco HL10 is a high-limit cut-out (HLCO) unit that is used to protect heating and cooling systems from overheating. It is a direct-acting device that is activated by a temperature sensor. When the temperature at the sensor reaches the preset limit, the HLCO will cause a control valve to close, shutting off the flow of fluid to the system. This prevents the system from overheating and causing damage.
The Spirax Sarco HL10 High Limit Control System is a high-limit cut-out unit for use with a Type 130 Control System. The high-limit cut-out unit incorporates a socket which has been designed specifically to accept the capillary tube from the limiter/cut-out sensor.

The Spirax Sarco safeguard high limit control system is supplied set to cut out at approximately 60°C and is designed to protect plant from overheating. Note: the settings can easily be altered to initiate cut-out at anywhere between 0°C and 100°C.
