Protecta-line 90° Elbow compression fitting
Protecta-line is the original barrier pipe and fitting system – trusted by many house builders, contractors and water authorities in the UK – to transport drinking water safely through contaminated land. BS 8588:2017 approved, the barrier pipe has a multi-layer construction that prevents contaminants permeating into the water supply.
The Protecta-line 90° Elbow compression fitting is manufactured from high quality polyethylene and is to BS 8588 standard. WRAS approved, the elbow is suited for cold, potable water.
The fitting offers proven protection against all recognised brownfield contaminants, for use in contaminated land environments. Suitable for use in industrial applications, irrigation and drainage equipment, for use with Protecta-line barrier pipe MDPE PE80 SDR11 coils.
No pipe end preparation required. Suitable for the conveyance of drinking water. Easy to install in all weather conditions without the need for specialist tools.
Easy to handle, high tolerance, lightweight, with no requirement to post-wrap the joints. Suitable for most common installation techniques and suitable for new and replacement drinking water supply systems.
